Keynote Speaker:

Christine Blondel | Adjunct Professor of Family Business at INSEAD

Christine Blondel advises several prominent business families, serves on boards of traded family-influenced companies and regularly speaks at conferences. She was the first Executive Director of the Wendel International Centre for Family Enterprise at INSEAD. Christine is a well-known author and regularly contributes to articles, case studies and books on topics associated with multi-generational family firms, successors’ dilemmas, fair process, governance, women in family businesses, and the sale of the family business.

Christine was a board member of the Family Business Network (FBN) from 2001 to 2004 and was a founding board member of the International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA). She is a member of the Family Firm Institute, a network of academics and advisors.

An MBA graduate from INSEAD, Christine worked for three years as a management consultant before joining Procter & Gamble where she had positions in Marketing (Brand Manager) and Finance (Associate Finance Director). A mother of four, her interest in family businesses has its roots in her own family: both her grandfathers were owner-managers of family businesses.
